LOL. I don't watch him. I don't watch CNBC at all. I just hit CNBC website for about 10 seconds two or three times a day, and he pops up every now and then "Cramer says we're going up", "Cramer says
scratch that", "Cramer says oh shit", "Cramer says you did buy, right?"... etc
Mike
Now this was good for a laugh, thanks Mike.
But this...

Check this video, you'll have an idea of who he is
THIS had me in tears I was laughing so hard.

Cramer was wrong? OMG, how can this be! Or is the mass panic waiting until after lunch?

You should use him as sentiment indicator. Just do the opposite. He stands for the retail bus people.

Cramer is no dummy, he understands the market. He just is too quick to give advice about a stock he doesn't really understand that well in the name of entertainment and he has a fundamental bias that often ignores technicals.
I was watching CNBC when the May "fat finger " crash happened and he called the buying opportunity.
YouTube - CNBC Coverage of the Dow 1000 Point Plunge - "Machine Error"
Still, I don't watch his show but if it's on and I'm flipping channels I'll see what he's saying. As far as CNBC goes, I sometimes watch Fast Money as they are all traders and hedgies and I like hearing a diversity of opinions on various markets instead of a single talking head telling me what to do.
