Roonius,
I like the econ news indicator from john as well. However, I don't need all the news he posts from the forexfactory. I really like the news from Barron's econ calender. Can you show the news in the left or right corner in panel 1 from Barron's econ calender?

Edit 2: Looks like you can set it to high or low impact with countries you want. Very nice. I think I would like to see the news in black above in small print though. I like it better in black. Just my opinion.

Cosmetic issue: Udate now in bottom left corner should be update now right?

Thank you for this indicator.

Don't they use EconoDay? (fidweek.econoday.com)

Econoday...yes. Does forexfactory use econoday also? I have no idea. I just went to the forexfactory website and nothing said "powered by econoday" on there fwiw.

Could you also make an option to draw a vertical line at the time the news comes out?

better yet, could you show a warning prior to the news....perhaps a vertical line or BackColorAll = Color.LightGreen;

also, i noticed a manual update button......I think streaming version would be preferable

I edited my previous post after looking at the indi some more. I don't think you need a vertical line because it has that count down there.

Yeah forexfactory pulls news from everywhere it seems and that's fine. I just need a filter. Econoday with Barron's seems to provide the items that impact the market significantly.

There is nothing to stream. ForexFactory xml is for entire week and it changes once a week.
You can set to autoubdate every x minutes.

Why not have a setting to allow the user to either show econoday or forexfactory?
