I found on youtube, there are videos tutoria about tradestation 10. and on tradestation website, there are also tradestation update 22 with bar timer countdown, but I cannot find version 10 or even update 22 for version 9.5. Anyone has the same issue?
as @rolen51 pointed out it's still in beta and you can ask to be included in the beta tester program to gain access to it. For the updates that are shown to you, you might want to contact TS directly to ask about that.
I am not sure if I recall it correctly, but they might roll out the updates to users in groups as opposed to rolling them out to all users at once. The official support should be able to clarify this and move you into a different group if this is the case.
Anyone has any more info on when TS 10 will be released? I was trying to find some info on this but I could not find anything...
Also I was watching some videos on YouTube about TS 10 and I do not know I did not have a very good first impression of it, as the guy showing the platform was showing things like how to draw trend line as if he was talking with children that never have seem a trading platform before or something like that, instead of showing the platform new features and improvements.
It seems that they only changed the layout and the way TS looks, like a new make up or something like that, instead of adding new features and functionalities of the more modern and fully feature trading platforms. Can anyone confirm that?
I am a big Tradestation fan, just so you know before you read below...
I have no info on when it will be released, but I am certain that it will have a lot of bugs and will crash a bunch. I'd say it will be years before I'd use it. I use 9.1 right now because I still do not trust 9.5 with real money.
I have learned the hard way that Tradestation is a great platform, but it is wise to stay a couple of versions behind while all the bugs are ironed out.
Good to know and I will certainly stay away from those then… I mean specially because I could not see anything impressive about TS 10 until now in terms of features and improvements, only a new logo with a new layout and colours.
Yeah but then their business model of addressing bugs and issues where it takes ages to fix and implementing new features is really bad, as trading is a business and not a video game, look for how long TS 9.5 has been around and as you mention you can not still trust it with your money.
Maybe they should expend more capital into the development and developers of their platform than expending money by running fancy advertisement on TV, magazines and internet.
