My objective of this is to keep track of my trades, keep myself honest and allow for other traders to provide input where possible.

Plan of Action:
  • Will be using Market Replay Data and Live Market however at the beginning I will only trading live market on SIM.
  • Will provide both 5m and 30m charts as well as Account performance.

Account Info:
Market: S&P emini
Type: Futures
# of Contracts: 1
Total Amount in Trading Account: $1500
Total Amount in SIM Account: $1500

Let it begin!

  • Below is a trade I did for 1.75 points
  • closed in 6min
  • $87.50
  • Reflection trade off the 50%
  • 2760 was just below and it was a whole #
  • there was significant amount of structure previously
  • rsi was over sold
  • volume indicator showed a surge

Why NT7 and not NT8
which is much more explosive
in terms of data applications?

Hey,l 4tison,

Honestly I have used both. I prefer NT8 however some indicators were not available. Replay data was odd as well. For example I start 10-15-2018 @12:00am and I want to jump ahead to 8am I would have to play the entire time till 8am whereas in NT7 I could navigate directly to 8am immediately.

The indicators may be available now, so when I sign back on to do some sims later on I will check again.

I was online with the live market this morning and NT7 froze up. Super frustrating.

Luckily there was no trade, but if there was then NT7 just ruined that chance.

To conclude NT7 has been around a lot longer and therefore has more indicators.

Hope this answers your question.

You can move the slider or speed up the playback to jump ahead.

I tried that before but it wasn't working like NT7.

Perhaps an update solved this issue or I was doing something wrong.

Thanks for confirming this method is supported. I am going to give it try again. Cheers

So I have been on a bit of a hideous and that is because I have been doing reno and started a new job. I also had issues with switching to NT8 as some of my indicators were not compatible. In particular it was the SuperDrive indicator I got on this forum. I have since gone through a lot of pain with the help of some people on this forum to get it converted and drawing in NT8! Exciting times!

I got back on the e-mini yesterday and today, but had no trades as it was in a odd state and only moved 6 points in total over a 2 hr period. I am not about forcing a trade I am about waiting for that moment to strike.

Trade times 9 - 10:47am

Thank you for reading. Cheers

This morning i took a trade. The markets were what looked like a push and pull state, but I made a prediction just before I was about to head into the shower to race into work. Set my entries and exits without a stop loss and went into the shower. Came out and it was a target filled!

1 contract
1.5 points

Reasons for entry
Prior Day low was not broken
volumes to the buyers were higher then the sells
RSI was near 30
took the trade from 61 - 38 respectively
