I think this business sector will soon extinct due rising competition and micro index futures.
You can open micro futures account as low as 100 $ and low as 50 $ margin per contract .

The only way I can see making money off micro is but adding up size for small accounts. Sure you can buy one contract of a micro and hold but where is the fun in that.

I haven't looked in to the micro's yet.
They are 1/10th of the value of e-minis so 1 ES point will be $5 and 1 NQ point $2, might be good for testing strategy's and stuff but i don't think i will be using it for my strategy. With OneUp for example i get $2500 DD for $150. If i lose the account i will probably also lose the $150 on the micro's. If i make it work my income is 10 times larger than with the micro's.
It takes 50 losing ES
points to lose my $2500 with OneUp vs 30 points for the $150 with the
micros .
The only reason to go with the micros over an evaluation account, in my opinion, is if your strategy isn't working with all the extra rules a funding company brings.

Yes i did, as i have explained in my previous post.
A $150 account with OneUp gives 50 ES points DD and $150 with micro futures gives 30 points DD.
So if i lose the account with OneUp i will also lose my $150 with micro futures while to potential profit is 10 times greater with OneUp.
It all depends on the strategy you are using and if you can handle the extra rules a funding company brings.

I think it is possible to pass the trading combine depending on you experience. The biggest thing I am afraid of is Ninjatrade lease fee when funded. I am a happy Tradestation user

Really ? 60 $ per / month
If we take 50 k " combine " you are expect to make 3000 $.
60 $ is nothing compared to it.
