I've been contemplating signing up for Ehlers workshop next week. The use of some his tools and trading perspectives have helped build a good foundation for my trading. But I can't seem to find anyone who's attended one of his workshops. It would sure be nice to get feedback from attendees on their experience. This workshop runs about $4k which is a slight discount from the $6 he normally charges for live sessions. It's also gonna be his last one. So my thinking is either attend the event or sign-up for something like Bookmap and use that tool as an enhancement to what I already have. I guess what I'm really wondering is, given the number of indicators Ehlers has already published, how much more value could there be in what he plans to deliver at his final workshop? Does it justify the price? I have mixed thoughts on this and it would sure be nice to get some feedback before deciding.
Can you help answer these questions from other members on NexusFi?
I was considering it, but it's not in our training budget and it conflicts with my schedule. I only found out about it a week ago, otherwise I would have given it more consideration.
I've been a big fan of Ehler's work, even when I don't completely understand it. We have been able to implement some of his ideas in our systems. I would like to get a deeper understanding of his various tools. That is what I would like to get out of his final workshop, but I have to pass. I'm curious if anyone else can give some insight on his workshops.
I will definitely share some thoughts afterwards. I'm both excited and nervous at the same time. I'm a little worried the math may be over my head but its all part of the learning process.
Sorry guys! I've been super busy post-workshop both trading and coming up with great tools! Yes, the Ehlers workshop was fantastic! He did a great job laying out the framework of his research and presented cutting-edge tools, both strategies and studies that have super-charged my trading. There's a lot I could write about the workshop. But in short, it was his last workshop, and he delivered by time!
It is also important to note, participants were asked to sign a confidentiality agreement before the workshop started. That means, I am not at liberty to share or discuss details about specific strategies or studies. I also value the work Mr. Ehlers put into the workshop and wish to respect the integrity of his intellectual property.
Thanks for the update! Most of Ehler's indicators are publicly available from his articles and books, but I understand how the application of those techniques could be considered IP. Too bad I had already used my training budget for the year.
It will be interesting to see if he will be passing the torch to someone else and if the workshop will be offered in the future, given his retirement.
