How is the ZN trading going? I am looking at adding the ZN to counter some of the volatility in my equities portfolio, but none of the setups that I use on equities seem to work with ZN. Do you mind providing some feedback on what you are doing on how that is working? Looks like current resistance is at 128'075 and I can probably put on a short here, but it really feels that I am guessing at this point.
Can you help answer these questions from other members on NexusFi?
Thanks for the news reports info - I never even looked at that so will close my position before 8:30.
I also see the uptrend on the daily - it may pull back a little after yesterday's move. Although, if we see weakness in the equity markets today, ZN should jump.
In equities, I can search for a couple of setups, and I can get a very good feel for the market depending on how my trades work. Right now, I have nothing like that in ZN - will look around a little, but if I can't find anything that works, I would be better off sticking with stocks.
Well, made back most of yesterday's loss today, long ZN with an average price of 128'140 and started scaling out at 128'165 ending at 128'190.
However, looking at both the risk I had in the account and the fact that I started getting emotional about the trade, just lets me believe that even the slowest and lowest leverage futures market may not be for me...
