Sorry I can't answer this question (and the other one) but here is a little suggestion:
you are much better off with creating a new thread with those questions than asking it here in "Introduce yourself"
EDIT: Since the post has been moved, hope someone will be able to answer you
To get a second zen fire login, simply ask your broker. They probably wont give it to you on demo (why would they?), but for a 'real' account it shouldn't be a problem.
BTW, I should mention you can only have on Zen Fire "adapter" per NT session. So one copy of NT = one Zen Fire. Even if one is via Mirus, and one via Amp, makes no difference.
I use two Zen Fire's because I run two copies of NT, one in a VM for development, and one in production.
what a coincidence, I was going to ask the same thing. I want to separate my automated trading strategies from my discretionary ones. Sometimes I open a chart and nt starts to freeze and I cringe knowing I got automated strategies running with real money.
I'm going to ask Mirus, will let you know what they say. if they say no then I'll open an account with another broker.
I'm tempted to open an account with velocity just to get x-trader, I've been wanting to try out the "no bs" scalping method.
I just got a demo account from Mirus, that will hold me over until they give me a 2nd login. Glad to know it's possible so that I can insist if I have to.
Actually I misspoke. My login is approved for two simulataneous connections. So it's the same account. not sure If I could trade with both at the same time or not.
