But isn't Zen-Fire built on Rithmic? So wouldn't that mean Rithmic is providing it?
Think big, think positive, never show any sign of weakness. Always go for the throat. Buy low, sell high. Fear? That's the other guy's problem. In this building, it's either kill or be killed. You make no friends in the pits and you take no prisoners. One minute you're up half a million in soybeans and the next, boom, your kids don't go to college and they've repossessed your Bentley. Are you with me?
Can you help answer these questions from other members on NexusFi?
I just wanted to say that I called Matt today and had a very pleasant hour-long conversation with him, he answered all my questions and I'll be opening an account with him shortly, as I believe he is offering the set up I am looking for. I would say that he definitely lives up to his reputation on this board and would encourage anyone to call him if they have any questions or are on the fence about opening an account with him.

I filled out an application to open my account with progressive today. I am dealing with Peter he is very friendly and answers all questions quickly. They clear through vision financial markets/ rithmic. They matched AMP futures quotes which I had provided. Over all I had good experience with Progressive. I am still waiting for my account to get approved and get it funded. I will keep every one updated.
As a follow up, my account is open and active over the past week and half, I was helped professionally during the paper work and I have been given rates matching AMP, eminis i pay 3.90 and curencies fx 4.7s all inclusive for clearing over vision financial markets using Rithmic data feed.
Overall I had good prompt professional experience.
I moved from amp for one reason, they did not keep their promise on the rates provided. They approved a group rate for me and then they backed out. The said its due to CQG routing cost bla bla so cannot do it , they had committed to the All inclusive rates on email and backed out ( when it is all inclusive rates then it should include every thing this universe has to offer), while Progressive is able to honor it.

Rithmic can only provide 1 minute historical data and only for currently traded contracts. Once contract stops trading that historical data becomes unavailable. No historical tick data whatsoever.
That being said, if you are using Rithmic with NT, NT will give you historical data from their own servers (AFAIK Sierra Chart can do the same i.e. they have their own servers for providing history).
Note that "can" in bold above. Not all applications implement support for that historical data, NT being one of them. They chose to maintain their own history servers.
Yes Optimus , progressive, minus are all introducing brokers to a clearing firm. Their job is to provide main front end work and customer service. They do not provide any data but rely on clearing firms to provide it.
