Tim at Gentry Financial has been nothing but super helpful for me. I can't say enough good things about him.
He just recently amalgamated with Kingsview. Still no hiccups.
When I first met Tim he was IB with Dorman, and Dorman did not service clients in Alberta. He helped me go through my existing company that I have in Nevada. Was really easy actually.
I was about to start a new thread with this question. It seems that things have changed in 2015.
I've just spoke with AMP and they no longer accept clients from Quebec (on Friday I was told yes and on Monday my application was declined and compliance told me that they do no longer take Quebec client...). So it leaves us with Interactive Brokers only (and RJO'brian but their fees are way too high) ?
I would like to us CQG IC or QTrader so the choice of FCM is limited and IB is not one of them.
Thanks.

Hello Okina,
Maybe you could ask to Ninjatrader brokerage. Last time I asked them they were trying to add Canadian customers.
I am surprised about AMP. I don't know what rules make it so difficult for broker to have Quebec's customers. The language ?
RJO is way too expensive as you mentioned.
Anyways, good luck. Let us know what you found !

Amp : no Qc or Bc clients (received e-mail this morning)
Ninja : no Canadian clients (just received the email 1h ago)
Just for fun I've contacted a Canadian firm (i wont give the name and you will understand why) fees 8$ per contract + clearing fees ,minimum deposit 25k$ per contract ...
Now you can understand why there is a lot of local lobbying to prevent US firms to take Canadian clients.
Cheers.
( Interactive Broker is so far the best (of the worst) less than 1$ per contract + clearing but no intraday margin, almost full margin all the time)
