Is this normal? I lost my connection to the internet this morning. I knew it right away since the DOM wet dead. It would have been nice if Ninja Trader alerted me but it didn't.
The scary thing is price on my charts spike up 12 ticks. I use the chart trader and this seems like a very dangerous thing for ninja to do. If I wasn't watching the DOM I would have not even noticed the connection was lost. If I was just trading off a chart and was in a trade this false price move might have made me try to exit a trade on bogus information. Of course since the connection was down it wouldn't have been sent but it might have when reconnected.
Anyone else have this happen?

That's normal when your internet connection goes down.
A comparably cheap SOHO solution is a router that allows for different providers and switches automatically
when your primary connection goes down (costs you about 30secs to 1min of reconnection time).
If you want 24/5 or 24/7 I don't know of any cheap SOHO solutions.
