I face a such type of problem with AMP futures. I close my position with 18 pips in profit in CL, but that trade appear on my account with 2 pips loss. I talked to them, but no solution. After couple of days again same thing happen, My trade is 16 pips in profit and I close position, but again that trade appear on my account with 2 pip loss. Then I make a detalied discussion with dealing guys, but no solution. So I close my account and moved to other broker. Now lets see this??????
I have had it happen twice with IB, but it was obvious at the time of the trade, i.e. it showed my position was doubled. They weren't concerned about it either.
I had a similar experience when I was trading NYMEX through an IB account way back. I made a huge profit and IB got back to me with a story about NYMEX suspecting market manipulation and thus wanted to bust the trades (I was doing more than 50% of the volume on the particular (thin) instrument that day).
They ended up busting the trades and there was jack s**t I could do about it, except of course a court case against NYMEX hiring overseas lawyers (i'm based in Europe). Right...
Since then I stayed away from NYMEX like the plauge.
I'm currently w/ Mirus/Dorman and haven't experienced anything like that trading Globex/Eurex.
Not yet . I have had incidences of the spread charged is way out of line from what was quoted at the time ( FXCM ) , without being anywhere near news events . Weird how brokers are like a buddy when all is smooth and play dumb and defensive when the heat gets turned on .
