Charles,

I have a question.

After my stop gets hit (either target or trailing stop) and the trend is still intact on 1508 chart but you have a pullback

on 377 chart and give you another signal,,,,,do you trade it?

Not unless the pullback also occurs 1st on the 1508 to the MA or Cloud - the 1508 must be setup 1st

How many of these trades occured during the Euro and US sessions ? Do you keep such a statistic ?

No I dont seperate them as such. Usually I will get 1 trade in the Euro session as long as the Asian did not have a vertical move, if it does I wait until 7:30 to trade

Gm Traders,

FYI, Any trade post I do today will be reflecting the September contract, there has been an increase in volume over to that contract.

That's interesting, I have the same feeling. On December/January I remember taking easy trades for 20 to 40 pips trades on 6E from the London open (I mean, would have been good entries for swings )... But now seems that these moves are happening on Asia.

I saw that too, but whole number is in front, so I didn't trade

Is there any exception that would work to the whole number issue. It was 4th attempt to break 1.4400 barrier that succeeded

based on Charles's whole number method, no trade, but if you watch VWAP, it is a perfect entry before spike

I took the trade & will post it shortly -

remember I said I would not trade into a whole # if price is within 15 ticks of the #.

I got filled at 1.4414 - had there been ANY rejection in price at the whole # I would immediately exit the trade

Look for the post shortly

Hi all - one thing to keep in mind at rollover is that there is still a lot (albeit less) volume in the June Contract. The June contract is trading about 50 ticks higher than the September contract. The whole numbers on BOTH contracts can have significance at the rollover. Case in point - at about 9 and 9:10 am today the September contract bounced and at these levels the June contract was bouncing off 4400 exactly. Something to keep in mind during the days around rollover. Note that this can work both ways...
