Hello,
I'm relatively new to Forex trading. I have been reading YTC trader on price action. He's just using multiple time frames to gauge price structure, market trend etc. By using a 1, 3 and 30 minute chart. I'm using ninja trader and for tick charts (you must enter the ticks). So what are those time frames equivalent to in ticks. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated!
Best regards,
Brian
Can you help answer these questions from other members on NexusFi?
Hello,
thanks for the reply. Maybe, I'm missing something.. When you create a new chart you can choose By chart type.
What I'd like to do, is choose the equivalent amount of tick to minutes. Example: 200 tick is equal to 5 minutes..
Any feedback would be great!
Brian
Find the ATR of the last 100 30 minute or 5 minute bars and enter the number of tick to get an equivalent range. You'll find the approximate value by trial and error.
