I wanted to give a shout to see if anyone would be interested in colloborating on buying historical forex tick data. I think we can save some $s each if we pool together..If interested, please respond. I can't find free historical tick data.
You can get real time forex data through sierra charts for only $18 per month on their basic package. It says intraday data goes back to December 2007. You can select from several sources, but I haven't used it yet, so I don't know about the quality. For that price it might be worth a look and see how it compares to your current feed.
I downloaded what I think is most of the spot forex currency pairs (29 different pairs) anyone would trade from a Dukascopy demo I had. The data is the best quality you will find (from what I have heard anyway) and in total is around 36 GB's. The …
There are also a lot of free sources of Forex Tick Data available on the internet. I can't vouch for the quality of any of it, but here are a few sources. (I can't post links because my post count isn't high enough yet.)
