To me simple is better..... I don't want to look at too many indicators. Besides, all indicators are doing is telling me is what the price is doing so.... why not learn to read price action? Some of the tools that help me do this are the 50 EMA and the 14 HMA with Sharky's ECO bars and a swing high/low.....that's it. Knowing what time of day is best to trade is also very helpful. 85% of daily price movement happens in the morning. So, for what it's worth.... here's my 2 cents. Check it out and let me know what you think.

Bar Timer Flash/Sound Alert

This version of Ninja's Bar Timer will work with NT7.
Code will not work on NT6.5.
v3 Some Minor alterations and code tidying. Jan 24 2011.

Features

Shows Clock and Bar lapsed time.
Alerts can be visual or sound based ( or both).

Clock works independently of OnBarUpdate().

The visual alert can 'flash' the whole screen, the clock area or just the text from a user defined interval before the end of the bar.

Buy/Sell Pressure Color Bar

A real time only version of this indicator was posted on the Ninjatrader forums by Dave S. in February. Naturally I couldn't resist the temptation to make it work with the GomRecorder.

The bars are colored blue for positive deltas and red for negative deltas. The saturation is proportional to the ratio of delta to total volume. Lighter color bars have lower deltas, and white bars have deltas near zero.

The trades that are counted can be filtered by the Minimum and Maximum Trade Size settings.

It seems to work well on Renko charts, where you can see the balance of power shift at congested areas that become reversals.

Ergodic Candlestick Oscillator

An optimized, ultra fast loading version using optimization techniques from the article on MoveTheMarkets, as referenced in the Optimize C# thread of the Forums.

Version 1.4 uploaded on May 30 should work with NT6.5 as well as NT7. Tested out OK here, please send me a PM if any problems.

Adapted from Blau's Momentum/Direction/Divergence by zoltran (Wes S.) and optimized by Zondor (Zondor�)

Here are the "rules" for using this.. take them with a grain of salt! Never rely wholly on indicators, nor on a single time frame!

Enter or hold position only when slope of ECO2New3 Signal line has the same direction as the trend
Stand aside when slope of ECO2New3 Signal Line is in the opposite direction of trend
Enter or exit position when ECO2New3 and its Signal Line cross
The magenta dot shows when the ECO2New3 is 'inside' its signal line, indicating failing momentum.

Double Stochastic Optimized

This version of Ninja's Double Stochastics should work with NT6.5 as well as NT7.

This is an experiment to see how far I can push the optimization. If you encounter any problems, please let me know. Seems to work OK here....

Anyone have any hints for optimizing C# code?

This version of the Double Stochastics has every coding trick I can think of.

All calls to external indicators are pre-instantiated.

It uses Richard's FastMAX and FastMin indicators instead of MIN and MAX.

Redundant p2 DataSeries from earlier …

Instances of all external MA's that are used by this indicator are pre-instantiated and the instances are defined before use.

Calls to the external MIN and MAX indicators have been replaced by calls to new internal private functions that give the minimum and maximum values.
The calls to those functions can only be made on the first tick of each new bar, and then ONLY when the maximum or minimum value of the applicable series is known to have changed. This eliminates a great deal of unnecessary loop processing.

Special thanks to Richard of MoveTheMarkets.com for the optimization strategies, at least SOME of which should be used whenever an external indicator is called from a Ninjacript INDICATOR or STRATEGY... it's a Paradigm Shifter.

This version should work on NT6.5 or NT7, but I have not tested it on NT6.5.

Buy/Sell Volume G40 Version

Revised May 25 2011: This is an updated G40 version. The installation package includes the GomRecorder and related files from latest Gom Package version 2.3b.

Revised at 4:50 PM ET on May 27: Added user selectable values for the fast and slow smoothing parameters of the Tick Volume Index, and changed the default values that previously had been hard coded.

We've come a long way since version G35. This one includes bar by bar values of Delta, Delta Momentum, and the Tick Volume Index. There were some optimizations to make it run a little faster, but it was still relatively slow to load.

On Tuesday May 26 I did some further code optimization and it now loads much faster. If you downloaded prior to around 7PM ET on that date, you should download and install the updated version posted at that time.

NT7 ONLY!
