jsftrader,

you might want to post this in the official Tradestation forum along with your code, so the developers can reproduce it and check if there is a bug.

The coding was copied that worked on 9.5, and the commands work on TS10 but only inside the same chart. The GlobalDictionary variables cannot be read by an other chart.

When TS changed to (i believe) 9.1, a setting had to be changed. Something to do with Shared CPU. I was wondering if the same is needed for TS10, but I cannot find the setting.

If anyone has same problem. I resolved it by Changing Performance to Compatibility. Now GlobalDictionary works.

Please let me know if I should not change the mode for some reason.

Access using the menu bar File > Preferences > Desktop menu sequence and select the Performance tab.

2 years later...looking for help on Global Dictionary. Using TS 10.

I believe the answer to the shared question is when you create the GD, use the following format:

var: GlobalDictionary GD_HOLIDAY(NULL);
GD_SHARED = GlobalDictionary.Create(true, "MyGD");
//Initializes a new, shared instance of the dictionary of the specified name when share is set to true.
