Has anyone read the book: Trend following system by George Pruitt? Are there complete trading system codes in Esylanguage?
Is it interesting? Is it worth buying?
Thank you.
Can you help answer these questions from other members on NexusFi?
I bought the book because I am interested in system trading. The book is about building Trend Following Systems. A lot about research and backtesting. The book is Python centric, but it has has some examples in Easy Language. My take on it, the book is about teaching you how to create your own systems. Not about deleivering a ready made system.
I have also read his book, "Building Winning Trading Systems with TradeStation". It does have a ready made trading system that is able to be modified. George is a nice guy. He has always answered my emails and he still publishes interesting ideas on hos web site.
I read the Italian version by Unger, not sure if it is exactly the same book. The book was really simplistic from a math point of view, but from a practical perspective it was quite useful.
