I want to write a custom long exit strategy so that if a position has gone $1,000 in profit I exit the position at $100 in profit if it turns against me. I'm working with a 5 minute NQ chart. I'm thinking of achieving this by turning IntraBarOrderGeneration ON so that I don't wait until a bar's close to exit if the condition is true. I'm worried about using IntraBarOrderGeneration and overloading my computer with the data stream.

Does anybody have experience using IntraBarOrderGeneration? Should I not be worried about turning it on? Is there another way to achieve this exit strategy?

Thank you!
Shooter

If you have a decent computer running a NQ chart, that should not overload the machine.
