ok, this is what you like to convert i think :

its the LinReg that colors its line and the Bars depending on up / down (blue / red)
and a flat-definition (yello Bars / gray line)

now what is your question to the algo ?

once it was a 2-step angle- check for flat, soft and strong angle with multiple colors
.
but this is out of function in this special linReg inidi here.
its a leftover from an other variation with MAs.

thats why you have angle1 + angle2 in the code.

So again, how does the color change for the lr line:
correct me:
if the slope of the lr line is up ( either by lr>lr[1] ) and angle 1 or angle2 is greater than threshold, then lr line is blue???
(if so, why not just one input for angle, why angle1 and angle2?

let me try again, after rereading your earlier response:
if lr is pointed up ( lr> lr[1]) and angle is greater than threshold, then paint line blue, right?
if lr is pointed up, and angle is <=threshold, then paint line gray for flat..?

do you use the slope to assess then direction of the lr line, or just lr>lr[1] etc?

Blessings,

Liz

this is the first check of the indicator >> if ( Rising (LinReg(Input, period))) --

and later it goes on with an

else (means - if not rising = falling )
for the other side

thats how its done in this code

hope it helps!
