In this new thread I am going to post a few experiments with Weka.
Weka is an open source java based modern work bench for machine learning. The tool can be freely downloaded from the website of the Waikato Univerity. (. The platform is completely written in Java and can run on several type of machines (Win, Mac, Linux).
I am running the tool on a Ubuntu machine.
The tool can be extended with 3rd party extensions. All extensions are shown in various categories.
The tool allows to slice and dice the data in all different angles, the tools allows for data pre-processing, classification, clustering, and many more operations that can be done on the data.
Once a model has been identified and tested it can be implemented in your own program using Java programming language. The many machine learning algorithms can be called from the library from Weka in real-time.
