(PS: The Old Tiger in the Snow is one of my favorite works of Hokusai I hope I will be able to purchase it someday. And I have it tattooed on my left shoulder).
Hello everyone,
As a personal introduction I am a little embarrassed about how to describe myself. The only constant thing in my life has been change. I’ve started as a wannabe mathematician, I moved to physic and from that to trading (already 3 moves before I really start what “normal” people call a career). I have done different things in the financial industry and as you can imagine worked for different employers, but to resume it has been mostly around market making and pricing derivatives. In my late 30s of course I had felt an irresistible need of change. This time I have created different businesses some very basic (and successful) like selling wine and some more complicated (and not so successful). After that I have traveled a lot around the world for 6 years (just for pleasure) and finally settle in Canada (why? Quite frankly I don’t know). My personal hobbies are collecting Japanese artifacts (swords, armors, paintings, prints) old books (before 18th century), pop art, reading (at least 2 books per week),learning (I have learn several languages including Latin just for the need to read some of the book that I collect), so here again very eclectic.
And I'm married with a wonderful wife who is a former swap trader (i need to mention that just in case she sees reads my posts) and the father of a son that I'm very proud of and who is in his first of year of engineering degree at 17 :) (just in case he reads this too) lol.
