I'm not certain starting a second journal is the best idea, but I've decided to move ahead with it regardless.
The short version behind my reason for this new journal is to keep my interest in trading the ZB separate from my efforts to "re-learn" how to trade the ES.
I started learning to trade Futures in April 2008 in preparation for my planned retirement in March of 2009.
Unfortunately I didn't find my way to Big Mike's (nexusfi.com) until June of 2011 - after I'd blown out a $10k account, twice.
After the second time I promised myself I would never trade the ES again. I focused on Treasuries instead.
Fast forward to 2019 when the CME introduced the E-Micro contracts, and I thought, maybe I can try (to learn) again.
Late last year I started following wldman 's journal thread "Tao te Trade: way of the WLD (" and I have to say it's been an inspiring change of perspective for me to follow his narrative.
I'm going to do my best to journal my efforts to "re-learn" how to trade the ES (starting off by trading the MES) here.
Hopefully my writing here can be helpful to others who come across this journal in search of answers to their own efforts.
