Just a request for all of us. For all larger threads, like "all you need", wizard etc, is there a way to have download section of all attachments in the thread as otherwise we have to search all pages to find updated version of the file. Not sure if this would be difficult to do, but requesting..
Can you help answer these questions from other members on NexusFi?
Or just do as most sites and have a paper clip icon next to the page numbers on the top right that when you click on shows all the attachments in the thread, then you can just trawl through that.
The paperclick is already there. Click the main forumthread display instead of the thread itself, there is a paperclick icon near the subject line. Clicking that shows all attachments for the thread.
As for the way FF does it, I will include it in the 4.0 update.
Now in a thread, if you wish to see all attachments in the thread, just go up to the top of the page where it says 'Thread Tools' and click on Show Attachments:
Then a new window will pop up, showing the attachments:
From there you can click any of the links or images to open a new window with it.
Thks B Mike,
That looks great. But in your improve list for future, we would still need the attachments with uploaded date as all that we try to find is, an updated version. as you can see in big threads, there are plenty of attachments and anyone wants to know which is the recent one.
