Thanks Mike! Oh, I do not have any friends and family here other than Nelson! All my friends are in Toronto and they will not visit me here + no phone calls. We tried last summer (a BBQ party) and only 2 of my friends showed up (2 out of 12 attended our wedding). It's the Canadian culture, ie minimal touch-base in the evenings and weekends when they have their family errands to run.
Nelson has to work most Sat + some Sun. I need to play with "something" such as trading charts and research etc etc to get closer to our dream(s) ELSE I will be .
Guess I can cushion a baking session (making some organic rosemary buns) in-between my trading activities LOL! You've suggested a challenging task for me to accomplish ....
Let's hope you and most of the BM members will follow your advice .. smile ..
1. When we were in Vegas, we passed by an Aston Martin car dealer. I promise (still present tense) to get Nelson one when I am a Successful trader!
2. I made a promise to my siblings in Hong Kong that I will bring Nelson to meet with them (the first time) in 2011.
3. We both were toasted when we celebrated our engagement in Cancun, Mexico in Sep 2008. I captured our special moment on an ESPN magazine cover. We looked very happy and healthy. Let's stay Happy & Healthy every millisecond!!
4 .. 5 .. 6 .. .. ..
I do have a daily goal: Share and Receive! Used to be "Share" Only. Then I learned "Receive" will make others happy too!!
I have to admire your resourcefulness. Where do you find the time and energy to try out all these "systems"? And where would I find out what constitutes a "signal" for the TSSupertrend indicator?
Thanks exiledgoblin for your best wishes. I have the TSSuperTrend indicator's settings for YM on Post #148 (Page 15). I did research and went through a few threads on SuperTrend. I believe there's a brief description on the indicator from the Downloads section OR you may approach the creator for more details.
You are right that we only have 24 hours a day. How often I wish we could have double .. less zozo to squeeze a few more hours here and there. The good news is: I'm getting very close to the end of my search (at least for a while) and am only looking for 1-2 indicators on supply/demand or order flow so that I know who's in control (sellers or buyers). Smile ..
Note to Big Mike: I have not worked on any chart since Fri "yet". My Internet is a little weak and cannot even pull up a chart on-line LOL!
Believe you have had a Relaxing weekend. Me2! Our Internet has been turtle slow over the weekend + occasionally kicked me out. Sooooo, have no choice and relax more LOL!
It's a challenging morning as I am training my eyes and mind on interpreting the new Volume indicators while figuring out how to apply some of the new trade ideas which I learned over the weekend. It's a little overwhelming.
1. Focus on ONE instrument ES only.
2. No over-trade. I waited patiently for a long trade entry regardless of the long selling tails on the price bars.
Lessons Learned:
1. I was too focussed on the Static SuperDom with my PT and SL orders and the Chart with Gomi Volume indicators. Too enthusiastic closing the long position and missed out the 4-Range Perry's set-up! Could have stayed in the trade as the 4-Range set-up has started to align with my long trade when I chose to exit the position!
2. Having predetermined PT and SL orders proved to soothe my psyche substantially. I don't panic when it's going against me.
3. Need to address my trade management skill, ie did I exit too early even it's a profitable trade? Do I benefit from moving my PT order (two times this morning)?
I have the Eds Volume Price Bar on a 4-Range Chart (together with Perry's set-up) while looking at the Gomi ones on a separate chart.
1. Eds Volume Price Bar
The histograms have crowded the chart substantially. I cannot really see them clearly incl the numbers .. sigh ..
2. Gomi Indicators
I believe the Gomi package is an Amazing trading tool. Having a few of them on a chart does add more colors to my morning. However, I feel intimidated and now have a headache after looking at the ladder for hours. Please don't get wrong, the red and green numbers next to the price tag give me ideas where the selling and buying are and it's live (not lagging).
It's me .. I cannot read when a car is in motion else I will have headache within milliseconds. The Volume Ladder has caused some strains on me and I need to figure out how to resolve it IF I am going to benefit from this awesome indicator!
3. Buy Sell Volume
Maybe I only need a simple Buy/Sell volume indicator though I cannot tell the exact distribution on the price!
Appreciate any suggestion to solve my Volume dillemma please!! :sos:
Beth (Now I have to take something to soothe my petite head .. sigh ..)
