I have broke 3 accounts already during my journey, the last one was 3 months ago
At this moment I realized I need much more preparation and discipline development
I am currently watching the Jigsaw DOM on a daily basis and every day I see things I didnt see before
About Futures.io, definitely think everything I want to know about futures trading I can find here
I am really glad to be part of this fantastic community,
Thanks to all members for the help provided
Thanks Mike for the great work
Good trades

Please read Trading in the zone before you fund any new accounts, after you finish that book for the second time start with a basic Pullback strategy using tick charts, using fibs and a couple MAs nothing more if you can become consistent with that then incorporate Jigsaw and other tools as you see fit, best of luck on your journey
Lee here, and having traded the ES for the last few months am in the early stages of of a complete re-boot.
Jobs in progress:
1. Platform change from TOS to NT
2. Learning to better use and understand the DOM
3. Changing completely my approach/attitude toward my work day, from a little frantic about maximizing each moment
of the current volatility to a calm and reserved approach to a lifetime business of learning and personal development
I'll be a month or two in the sim learning the new platform and DOM, and practicing the teachings of Mack, Weis, Elder and Brooks.
Backing up a bit; I am retired military, and a s a medic/firefighter had an approach to life that was a little ballsy and head/body strong. Funny how that does not work for me here…
At all.
In my early experiences trading, I have found that my bad habit development speeds have been stunning. So, it's nice to be good at something. Also, making good trades (mostly) and taking points Monday through Thursday only to lose most of it on Friday has been a true test of my sense of humor. In short, there are some things to fix, rules to rewrite, and better habits to cast in stone before I go back to trading live. That, and maybe I start taking Fridays off.
Interesting that this is so much more than learning to trade…
It's a lifestyle of improving my:
1. Organization
2. Eliminating waste, clutter and excesses (mental and physical)
3. Mental and physical fitness
4. Stress management practices
5. Sleep discipline
6. Personal finance management
7. Personal time management
8. Personal and lifestyle discipline
Asking myself to change completely all of this overnight is folly, so what began as an opportunity to make a few handfuls of cash has evolved into a beautiful career of lifetime learning and incremental personal development.
I’ll be darned…
Thank you all for being here, and for the incredible information and resources you share in this forum. I look forward to getting to know you better.
HI Mike and everyone! I want to firstly thank Mike and admins for allowing me into this group that definitely has a different approach and obviously added value to all active members. Although i joined around a month ago, i hadn't logged in again since till today, following some pleasant cajolling from Mike. I will hence forth be a daily participant, going through threads and picking brains. Thanks and see you all later.
