both versions are exactly the same. so you can override the old version. the only difference with the one I posted, it can be used with gom cd. all I did was uncommenting all gom cd regions. like @dorschden explained on the first page:
if you want to compare different divergences, just use the same pas pro with different settings. like in my example one with stochastics and one with gom cd.
you need the gom recorder which includes the gom cd indicator.
it looks like you haven't installed the gom recorder yet. it can be found here:
Here's the new major release of GomPackage, released this time in Elite because it was a lot of hard work.
THIS VERSION IS FOR NT 7 ONLY
Indicators developed with GomRecorder 1.3 still work on 2.0
Majors changes with 1.3b are the …
I strongly recommend you read through that thread, especially take a look @gomi posts. then after you installed the gom recorder, all you have to do is to select gom cd under divergence in the pas pro indicator. no need to load the gom cd indicator separately. unless of course you want to see it.
Thanks for your quick reply and advise.
After loading latest GomCD indicator the cpmpilation error had disappeared.
Can I use the same parameters(1,2&3) as I use for MACD VIZ., 12/26/9 UNDER DIVERGENCE PARAMETER section?
Appreciate your advise.
Thanking you in advance.
Regards,
you can set the colors how you like them. I use blue for higher high and higher low, and red for lower low and lower high. the number represents the delta of the current swing. like mentioned in a earlier post, I prefer not to advise about logic and how to use it. I'm not using divergences in my trading.
if you have a gom indicator with recording set to true, then you'll have historical data. please read in this thread:
Today, I tried to create a Gomfolder to record data as outlined in the video ( post#2) of the link that you have given.
I am not sure what text to be filled against 'Variable name' & 'variable value' rows of the new environment variables dialog box of windows-7. Also not sure wether the new GOMFOLDER to be created under User variables or under system variables.
why do you want to create a gomfolder? you don't need to do anything. if you have a gom indicator with "write data = true", the files will be created automatically. in the same place like ninja trader 7 (my documents).
also I wouldn't use this thread for gom stuff. this one is more appropriate :
