Does anyone know of a provider of free live trial data for MC
TRIAL PERIOD: I hereby agree to a 7 day trial of the Service ("Trial Term") at no charge (excludes applicable Source fees). Subscriber hereby agrees to pay any applicable fees which are required by the Sources during the Trial Term and which are disclosed during the registration process. If Subscriber does not notify TDTN to cancel the Service prior to the end of the Trial Term, then the trial will automatically convert to a full subscription per the terms outlined below.
Is this the 30 day trial period!!!!!!!!!!!?
I copied this from the IQFeed site, and it requires applying for the facility by CC & is far to involved for just a trial
I have been using CGQ with NT7 & it's far less involved, is there anyone else you can recommend?
Both Mirus Futures and AMP Futures offer an Zen-Fire trail demo, which provides real-time data for futures (European and American).
If you're looking for (spot) forex data, you can open an demo account with MB Trading, which has an unlimited time period and no spamming emails. Both Zen-Fire demo's and MB Trading demo's data feeds work good with MultiCharts, and require not much personal data or a credit card.
It's 7 days for everyone, and 30 days for MC users. You have to let them know that you have MC, and they will give you 30 days. During the trial I don't there are any charges, but you should double check with them.
IB also gives you a demo feed if you have a Sim account with them.
OEC, Zen-Fire and MB Trading also give you trial feeds I believe, but they are all brokers, which means you need to open a demo account to get data.
Also I want to mention if you decide to sign up for IQFeed after the trial, nexusfi.com (formerly BMT) Elite Members can get $50 off their first month, or 20% off an annual subscription:
"IB also gives you a demo feed if you have a Sim account with them."
I got this back from IB
Dear Trader-

No, IB does not offer free data.

Please feel free to contact again should you have any further questions.

Regards-

Aimee
IB
needless to say they DO NOT provide free data, what am i missing, how is a Sim account different?
I sent off another email, as well, will inform later.
If you have a real account with IB, you also have a simulation account with them, the same data feed, ...
If you don't have a real IB account, there is a demo account available for everybody, but the data are not the real one, just some random figures, but it's enough to test some software functions, if it is what you want.
