Hello,

I am new to Big Mike forum and would like to ask your advice on the following issue.
I find Multicharts averages my orders in price shown in my chart and seems like combining into one price. Also the corresponding stop order and trailing stop orders also become a single entry of multiple tickets.
I have searched MC forum but cannot fix with those suggestions. I guess this is common issues. Anyone can give me some suggestion? Thanks.

ppcl,

welcome to futures.io (formerly BMT). Can you give me an example of what you mean by that exaxtly:
"I find Multicharts averages my orders in price shown in my chart and seems like combining into one price."

You'll probably have to use the Position Trading reserved words (like PosTradeEntryPrice etc.) to get the entry price for each leg of a multi leg position and create specific stop and target orders for each entry. The reserved words you are using for the stop and target will be based on the value of the full position and close it out completely.

Regards,
ABCTG

Hi ABCTG

Thanks for reply. For example in trading YM, 1st entry: 17800, 2nd entry: 17820
Then it will show 2 tickets of price 17810 (average price of above two prices) instead of 2 separate tickets with above price.
All exit orders like trailing stop orders will be based on price 17810 but not on 17800 and 17820 correspondingly.

I have no idea about Position Trading reserved words (like PosTradeEntryPrice etc.). I just submit orders thru MC manually and attach stop orders or trailing stop orders. Thanks.
