Hi - I just started playing with MC chart trading and am experiencing some weirdness. I'm using an Interactive Brokers Paper Trade account but getting data through eSignal with Symbol mapping in the MC Broker Profile. So far there have been a few things that I have noticed that I don't understand why it's happening. Trading Futures FX Contracts (6E etc). I am new to MC Chart trader so it's possible I am doing something wrong but can't figure out what.
1) P&L/ticks in chart trader seem to lag greatly. I could be down a few ticks but it thinks I am up a few ticks. Same if you have it show in $ instead of ticks. This is more annoying than a serious issue.
2) I have edited a Master Exit Strategy with 2 different profit targets and have set this to Auto Apply to open positions. This only works sometimes where it will auto apply other times I will have to right click it and say apply to open position even though the auto apply option is enabled.
I have had it where it will not apply the Master Strategy the way I set it. ie. It will put all contracts to exit at the first profit target and there will be no contracts at the second profit target.
Anyone else run into these issues? What's the general experience using MC Chart trader for folks? I have used NT Chart trader and have not run into any issues in the past.
