I am currently testing profiles to assign different weights in a F&F account interactivebrokers.
When I use the default configuration (Automatic Allocation) all is ok. If I place 4 positions in 2 accounts, then they balance to 50%. And is possible to operate individually in each of the accounts.
But then I use a configured profile, and the weighting is done correctly.
The problem appears because then it is not possible to operate individually in each account.
Can anybody help me please?
Can you help answer these questions from other members on NexusFi?
Go to Multicharts, File, Broker Profiles, Manage Broker Profile, select Interactive Brokers, Edit, Financial Advisor Settings, select Automatic Allocation.
This is how you choose how to send manual operations.
Now, on the other hand:
Multicharts, select a chart with automatic system, then clic window, format, strategy properties, auto trading, select broker plug-in, interactiveBrokers, settings, financial advisor setrtings, manual allocation, profile, and write the name of the desired profile, for example PROFILE1.
This is how we want this particular automatic system to behave.
Remember that it is possible to create different profiles and assign them individually for each automatic system
Now missing to configure the profile in interactive brokers.
Open TWS, file, global configuration, advisor, allocation profiles, and we can create and edit profiles.
With TWS we can create, edit and make use of these profiles. This data is stored in the central server of IB.
