I am having a lot of issues with NT and volume being displayed correctly, predominantly with stocks. According to NT support forum they blame all issues on the data providers. Yet some have pointed out using Quote Track with same data feed no issues, ie IB. I currently have IB and a barchart data feed. Basically during the day a large spike shows up in the volume indicator which skews the scale making all other bars unreadable because of the scale. If I reload historical data it corrects the issue until the next spike. I exported the symbols minute data to a text file from NT. Every time the data stops 1 minute before the spike. Example spike is 7:55, current time 10:20, export minute data shows last data at 7:54. I've tried both VOL and VolUPDn that come with NT no difference. If I slide the spike out of view the scale is returned to normal and you can see volume bars that came in after the spike.
Is there a volume indicator that will get around this issue or is this another NT quirk that hasn't been fixed and or won't be?
Thanks
Jeff
