It is my pleasure to welcome FXCM's Tyler Yell for a special webinar as part of our 4-year anniversary ( on nexusfi.com (formerly BMT). The webinar will be on Friday, June 28th @ 4:30 PM Eastern US.
Topics include:
- Why be a contrarian …
Yes I've read the above webcast but it wasn't helpful and am aware of the SSI indicator for FX which is NOT live.
How can we look at the volume perhaps to weed out the retail volume vs institutional. Perhaps make all single contracts = retail and contract orders larger than > X = institutional?
Curious if anyone has looked into this?
Thanks In advance.
Can you help answer these questions from other members on NexusFi?
While the SSI (Speculative Sentiment Index) data on DailyFXplus.com updates twice a day, there is a new SSI Snapshots indicator on FXCMapps.com updates in real time.
FXCMapps.com also has our Real Volume indicators which measure the trading of our retail client base. If you want to compare retail volume to institutional, then the Commitments of Traders indicators on the same site do that, though not in real time.

Another question; Does anyone know if it's possible to track market makers on level 2 screen and time and sales screen for future contracts? It seems NT only supports this feature for stocks. Do other platforms have MM for futures? Or is this dependent on your data provider? Which data provider has this info?
I am able to load the SSI Snapshots indicator on Marketscope charts without any issues. What currency pair and time frame are you trying to load the charts on? And when was the last time you loaded SSI Snapshots successfully?
Thanks,
Jason
