I would recommend you use exchange day of the week and time and not your local pc day/time. if you trade non-us markets such as the Japanese yen, Hang Seng, French CAC, or even the DAX it will be more useful.
It will help immensely when you have DST (Daylight Saving Time) that is different from your local DST.
Bottom line localize to the market you are trading not to your local time. I made my own indicator is where my knowledge on this came from on this subject so you can learn from my prior research.
