In the downloads section I'm seeing "optimized" versions of some indicators. I'm curious, what optimization foo did you apply? What are generally accepted practices for well-optimized indicators and strategies written for Ninja Trader that people are employing? Perhaps a list or summary of such tips would be helpful. I personally have never experienced the feeling that my indicators or strats were too slow, but everything I run it on has quad core CPUs.

Then backtrack until you see the posts by Richard, who is Richard Todd of the MoveTheMarkets.com website.

This all started after I read an article there:

RWT-004 :: Move the Markets

Great article, I wish more people would take a few minutes to learn and apply this information. It's not complicated and makes a lot of sense.

Richard is an outstanding programmer.
