I am feeling more comfortable with the stability of NT7 and want to start using it for live trading.
I am trying to focus on price action driven trading which is conscious of the context. There are so many factors in play here that it is very hard to code them all. I can see and feel them; but can not translate them, yet, to programmable rules.
What I would like would be to have a mechanism where I can dynamically adjust different parameters of the strategy without having to restart it.
Essentially I am looking for adding buttons or a pull-down menu to the strategy chart window which allows me to send signals to the strategy manually. Some of these might require additional input (say a parameter), which might require a follow-up form.
I would appreciate examples or other thoughts on how to achieve this.
Can you help answer these questions from other members on NexusFi?
I know about andreas app but I want full control over what I display and how I provide the controls.
The statistics button provided by the PriceActionSwing provided me with some ideas.
I also would like to pop-up forms as a reaction to a mouse button press in order to enter parameters. I have not used forms so I am not too confident about them; there was an app once posted on NT forums about that.
Not sure that you have everything you were looking for. I just found this: havent tried it yet (more than what I can use ATM): emini-fools.com ... buttons available for NT strategy
