I hate to do this to you all who use nt7 but I have to beg off further development on nt7. As I've stated before I don't use NT7 and therefore don't have nt7 charts running during the day. So, I can't fully test this indicator to make sure it's running as it should with realtime data. The nt65 version is running correctly. The unfortunate thing is the code that plots the dots and colors them is the exact same code for the nt65 and nt7 versions and should work the same in both versions. But it doesn't. Don't know why and even though I said earlier that I knew how to fix it, I don't. It makes no sense why this problem occurs. Maybe someone else can figure it out and post a fix or tell me how to fix it.

In the meantime, I'm issuing a new version to get us back on track with the dots.

This version returns us to the same code as v5 with a couple exceptions. I set the default for rounding to be false and now all the order entry lines are the same color. I guess the different colored lines caused some confusion.

I'm wondering...is anyone using the nt65 version seeing the discrepancies that fusion talks about in the nt7 version? I've never seen any problems but just wondering if anyone else does.

Mike, thank you for your generous work on this strategy. Although I have used NT6.5/Zenfiire for quite some time I have never looked at or installed a strategy prior to this one. Sorry for the elementary nature of my request.

I have installed your strategy from post 107 and the latest indicator post 192. I am using replay data and the strategy is running however the charts don't look like those being posted. When I review my indicators on my chart it lists the following:
DMPlusSignals_v7,
EMA(5),
MAMulticolor,
DMPlusSignals

Is this correct? Is the last DMPlusSignals suppose to be there? I did try to delete it but it will not let me saying it is part of the strategy. Could you post a template or a list of the indicators you have on your chart?
Thank you

Those lines are locations for your stop orders so the fact that the lines are there IS important. The COLOR of the line has no meaning to anyone other than me.

Ok, let me make sure I understand....the indicator data series has options for choosing colors for the SU1 and SU2 entry orders.....those represent stop entry orders correct......AND the black 5 bar lines also represent stop entry orders as well? The user has no control over the color of those lines so I am assuming they are system generated.

What I guess I am failing to understand is the difference between the user controllable lines and the black ones over which there is no control. Do all the lines represent stop entries? If so, why bother with allowing the user to change some of the colors if the color only has meaning for programming purposes. It seems to me that all the lines should be set to black then by the user....

Sorry to be so dense. I am not an indicator whiz kid.....thanks for walking me through this. I use a system very similar to this and I want to get it right as it could take a lot of the brain power work off my shoulders and let me just focus on execution.

just download version 7 and the problem is solved. all lines are the same color, user can choose the color, and they all represent the location where a stop order can be placed to enter the market.

the strategy has not kept up with the development of the indicator. so you should remove the strategy and forget about it. it will never see the light of day as the entries marked by the indicator are for discretionary trading only. The DMPlusSignals indicator is version 7 at .

I don't trade this system. You should go to Perry's thread and get the template there as that is part of the Elite access area of this forum.

Just thought of this...all you nt7 users can at least continue to use the indicator by setting COBC=true. At least you get the signal at barclose and it will be correct or it should be anyway. Very frustrating set of events regarding nt7.

You have to evaluate the entries manually but then get confirmation at barclose.

Thank you for the clarrification on the strategy. I will discard it and just follow along with the latest indicator and Perrys Journal.

Hi Mike,

Thank you for trying hard to solve the latest indicator problem, I read your posts on Want Your Indicators Created Free.

JeffsUniversalMovingAverage_v1 is also a problematic one. I emailed NT support and got the following response:
-------------------------------------------------------------------------You'll have to contact the auother or vendor of the indicator for support. If they're writing multicolored indicators in version 7, there is a different approach than version 6.5

For more details about the similarities between JeffsUniversalMovingAverage_v1 and DmPlussignal _v7, please look at these 2 links:

TIA!
