Occasionally, my pc clock is not in sync and the NT platform appears to be out of sync by 4 seconds. A quick time sync and the lag is not there. I have not had any problems since I moved to a nvida 3080 with 16 gb of video memory.

Last week I tried 1 bare bones chart with the DOM. Still had lag.
I appreciate the comments from others as it lets me know it isn’t just me. But NT won’t even respond to me anymore. I have sent in short videos, screen shots, lag app results etc. I can’t even figure out if it is Rithmic or Ninja.
The Refresh rate bugs me as mine is 60 hz and can’t bump it up. Expensive fix if that is the issue.

You should run NT as "Administrator" on you PC, so the NT application decides the time

I run Nettime NetTime - Network Time Synchronization Tool with a short sync interval of 1hr. No issues whatsoever with lag

To succeed in trading you need to think like the minority ,so you won't end up like the majority

This is a very interesting comment that I haven't heard before.

When I have had issues with NT it seems like it's the rendering/graphics that are lagging. The price quotes (visible on the right side) and DOM seemsto be correct.

This is typical for an indicator consuming too much resources and slowing down chart rendering. You can see which indicator is consuming too much via the "NinjaScript Utilization Monitor":

In NT Control Center select New > NinjaScript Output > Right Mouse Click in the NinjaScript Output Window > select NinjaScript Utilization Monitor.

An Indicator should not exceed Chart Style (Candlestick or Bar or whatever you use) in Total Time (ms).

See " NinjaScript Utilization Monitor".

That's helpful. I'll check it out. Thank you.

Just to let everyone know - last Tuesday, everything from NT and Rithmic started working fine. I have had no lag issues since then and fills/stops all look normal. Very little slippage.

Of course I asked both companies about this and and of course both deny any changes were done recently.

3 months ...

Which version of NT are you using now? I rolled back to 8.0.25 within a few days of trying 8.0.26. I'm hoping 8.0.27 won't have as many issues
