Useless does not necessarily equate to worthless ... if we create a thread on futures.io (formerly BMT) touting the amazing results achieved with this indicator... within a week some trading "Guru" will have renamed it and included it in his $5000 "proprietary" trading indicators package along with a monthly maintenance fee....

In fact is not useless. It is just a Keltner with some CPU load added. You get some added value, because

- it has a fancy name
- it's real nature as boring Keltner is obfuscated

thus allowing you to sell it to beginning traders, who will happily use it on their tuned PCs.

I have been considering the purchase of a system that uses proprietary acceleration bands and decided to check Big Mike's site. Thanks Fat Tails for saving me from throwing more money away on a system that is probably all fluff and no stuff.

Hi guys

I know that this thread is quite old, but I want to know from wiser users what do they think about the combine between OBVDiver and Acceleration Bands.
I post a screenshot of GC, where there is an interesting situation while OBVDiver pass through the bands: could it be suitable for an entry?
This is one but not unique situation
