*2010 will be a year of change for my family. Our goal is to move full time to Eleuthera in the Bahamas by the end of 2010.

Oh Oh Oh!!!

Excitement!

I may be your neighbor one day (my general goal of retiring to the Caribbean).

So, tell me more about Eleuthera! I've never been. Google told me it's where KoKoMo is (Beach Boys).

Looks fantastic... have you been down there? How many times?

Mike

bring it on neighbor... that would be wild wouldn't it.
been there twice. stayed here once. rented a house the other time.
The Cove Eleuthera.
very nice.

I've been all over the Caribbean and looked at different places. This is probably our favorite. Really like Tortola BVI too but moving there is a real pain in the tail.
Where To Stay In Tortola - The British Virgin Islands: Tortola, Virgin Gorda, Anegada, Jost Van Dyke, Beef Island, Cooper Island, Guana Island, Little Thatch, Marina Cay, Necker Island, Peter Island, Saba Rock

beaches are nicer in Bahamas. Some of the nicest in the world to me.
Eleuthera is a quieter place. Kinda off the grid. Not as touristy as main islands. Starting to get built up a little more now though....

Yo Web.

Apparently Bellingham is insulated from tsunamis here even though we are pretty close to an active fault line. The beaches here aren't sandy at all though. Soo yeah... The Ham is best in the summertime.
