I have had a TA/Infinity futures account, have currently a zen/Mirus futures account, I have used ninja and Sierra Charts for quite a while.
For charting, imo Sierra Charts is still the best. It feels light, moves fast and still builds charts quickly. I also appreciate the way data is stored for each individual symbol. You can have a buddy email you historical data by just copying the symbol from the root directory if you want.
Infinity is a bit more pricey than my Mirus account for each trade.
For trading, Infinity's DOM works well. It's fast and I've never seen it pause or lag. When I trade my Mirus account through ninja, every once and a while I'll have a hicuup. I think the data from zen to feed ninja is not very good by comparison to the data I would get through TA, so it's a toss up.
Can you help answer these questions from other members on NexusFi?
Does anyone have a copy of InfinityAT OST version 5.1 I upgraded to 5.2 and find that it has some issues. I want to go back to 5.1. Transact support has tried but not been successful yet at either fixing my problem or getting me the older version
I was just wondering if any of you could comment on your experiences using infinity AT to power either Market Delta or IRT. I currently have IRT with DTNIQ and trade through Tradestation. I have used Infinity in the past and I really like their DOM. I would also like to drop some of the redundant fees I have. Thanks for the information.
Infinity looks good, but there maybe some troubles with trading, if you are using dynamic IP - I came across it. You should better to discuss this question with Infinity support
Hello traders,
Im planning to open an account with this broker and i want to ask if any one have or had experience with Infinity broker and how it was?
I appreciate any kind of feedback and advices.
Thanks in advance
Regards
I have an account with them and like them. Patrick Zielbauer is my broker. Always answers emails and inquiries promptly. Love the DOM. Simple. You get free charting with Sierra Charts if you do 10 trades a month. I have no complaints at all.
The following user says Thank You to emini2000 for this post:
I just signed up with InfinityAT futures, mostly due to their overnight margins. They consider a "day" from 5p-315p the next day, and give you day trading margins during that time. Also, their overall margins are fantastic for the Eminis and crude, compared to TradeStation and interactive brokers. Also, Patrick is very responsive.
However, a big, big negative which no one in this thread has mentioned yet is that they do NOT keep OCO orders on their servers. So the InfinityAT platform has to be up for the OCO orders to execute properly. Also, any fills that occur while the platform is off do not execute the attached OCO orders. This is huge !! If you're in a trade and computer crashes, you have no protection.

Can anyone comment if there are any additional data fees along with the free InfinityAT charting (SierraChart white label). I assumed that when you have a live account that you automatically get whatever symbols are enabled in your trading account streamed to charting platform free.
But after reading SierraChart's Integration with Trading Services sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/SierraChartRealTimeFuturesStockDataFeed.php#IntegrationWithTradingServices ,
I'm not clear if there are any other fees required. It looks like CME and other exchanges still get you for a few bucks, and it requires logging in to live acct once per month to qualify for the lower fee.

But what if you only want delayed data?? Does SC store that and make it downloadable for free?
