There's an endorsement for you...college kids are doing it - the epitome of self-control and sagacity. When I was in college in Boulder( yes, in the early 70's), I would pop any pill and smoke anything that was put in front of me, as long as I knew the guy who did it before me, didn't drop dead after he first tried it.
BTW: I'm in the process of taking a medical marijuana company public, and don't mind tasting a little kush every now and then, but it's only when I'm not trading.
I can count on one hand the number of times that I even took a pill for cough for the last 16 years (knock on wood!).
One of the things that really helps me to relieve stress is Bikram Yoga...sweat in 90 degrees for 90 minutes.
If there is a branch besides you I suggest you try it.
There are gazillion opinions about Bikram, but it helped me. Don't want to get into opinions/debates about it. This is just a suggestion.

I cant vouch for 'specific' trading side effects, but the general state of well being and increase in stamina are all positive side effects from loss of weight ... IMNSHO the mind is not dependant on the body to 'be primed' as can be shown with many smart people that have physical limitations ... ' performance enhacing drugs' can be made by the body when the heart and mind are totally in sync in thought, goal and method.

I am afraid Germans cannot compete with Americans. The average weight for a German male adult is only 181 pounds. The Oktoberfest just helps them to catch up a little. I believe that beer is healthier than Coca Cola.
