I’m trying to view Open Interest for the new financially settled Micro E-mini Nasdaq-100 options in CME QuikStrike, but I can only find the legacy MNQ options.

As far as I can tell, the new contracts use the MN1A–MN5E series, covering Monday through Friday expirations. These contracts are already trading, and their Open Interest appears in CME’s Daily Bulletin.

However, in QuikStrike’s Open Interest Heatmap and Open Interest Profile, the product selector still seems to show only the old MNQ options. I haven’t been able to find any way to select the new financially settled series.

Has anyone been able to view the MN1A–MN5E Open Interest in QuikStrike?

If so:

* Is there a different product name or symbol that needs to be selected?
* Is there another QuikStrike page that supports the new contracts?
* Is this simply not supported yet?
* Is there any free alternative that shows Call/Put Open Interest by strike and expiration for the new MNQ options?

At the moment, the only free source I’ve found is CME’s Daily Bulletin, but it’s much less convenient than the QuikStrike Heatmap/Profile.

Would appreciate any information from anyone who has run into the same issue or found a workaround.

Hi @Thanachot and welcome in the Forum.

Here are the direct answers to your questions regarding the new financially settled Micro E-mini Nasdaq-100 daily options (MN1A - MN5E):

Product Name / Symbol: There is no alternate product name. The root symbols are exactly as you noted (MN1A, MN2B, MN3C, MN4D, MN5E).

QuikStrike Support: The specialized visual tools in QuikStrike (Open Interest Heatmap and Profile) do not currently support these new contracts. CME treats them as entirely separate product IDs from the legacy physically settled MNQ options, and the QuikStrike UI selectors have not yet been updated to map these new roots.

Alternative QuikStrike Page: The standard Option Chain page in QuikStrike is generally updated faster by CME's data team than the Heatmap or Profile. It is worth checking there by selecting the specific daily expiration, though full visual integration is still pending.

Free Alternatives: Because standard CME web pages and third party free data aggregators currently default to showing the legacy "(Physical)" MNQ contracts, the CME Daily Bulletin remains the most reliable free source for accurate, strike by strike Open Interest data for the new financially settled series.

Alternative Access: If you absolutely need this data in a more convenient format right now, another possibility is accessing it through a funded brokerage account that provides direct CME market data feeds. These platforms allow you to manually enter the specific root symbol (e.g., MN1A) to pull up the raw option chain with Call/Put Open Interest, bypassing the UI mapping delays seen in free web based tools.

Hi Symple

Thank you very much for the detailed explanation. This clears things up for me, especially regarding the current QuikStrike limitations and the available alternatives.

I really appreciate your help
