I didn't trade the TF today Gil, but Julia and Danielle each took the same run up from the 76 for 10 points each. Watch the vids they are awesome........

I couldn't seem to pull it out for some reason. I honestly could have stopped at just under a point negative, but I kept going thinking I was seeing it. I wasn't....
I have tried for the life of me to understand where the big pivots were today and I still have no CLUE. Any help?
Wow. I decided more than 3 trades today is ok, but I didn't expect this. Back to 3 trades.
Video is coming. It is quite large, so still putting it together.
ouch, man! This is a little step back, the 3 trades rule worked good, so stay with it. I am looking forward to your video. My session will start in couple minutes, so I hope that I will handle it, but everything can happen
Please comment on this review. I've taken the 7 day NTF trial. Thanks.
Looks like today was mostly sideways with 8 pt range.
If you missed the high at 5:50 AM, it's tough to catch a gradually declining run. That lasted until 8:40 AM.
At 8:42 a nice foot formed on 377. However, it didn't run far before a big pullback.
Quick market action at 8:47 made a long difficult to catch.
A long at 9:04 was one of the few clear signals.
9:30 to 10 usually lacks opportunities, I've read.
A 377 foot at 10:03 was an awesome opportunity. So was a long at 10:34.
1. 8 point ranges can be very nice for a countertrend trader. The trick is that you must understand this and identify with it. For instance if it is hovering within a longer term fib pattern and you know it could hang out here. Or, you are in a wedge (which we were) and it may not be ready for a breakout.
2. "tough" is an interesting word. I also don't know what time zone you are on without double checking. I am guessing you are on CST "Houston".
3. Yup.
4. Yes, I tried to get that long I believe if I think I know what you mean. It moved quicker than my brain.
5. Yes. I was in lala land.
6. Disagree. Instruments change patterns and sometimes you will have the best opportunities in that time.
7. Tried to get long at 9:59 your time, but it came down and knocked me out one last ime and I just gave up. I think 10:03 would be a bit late. 10:34 was nice.
8. I wanted to hit the 76 retrace at 11:01/11:02 area. I was tired and couldn't wait.
Looking to take my trading to the next level and wondering: is there is a number of contracts I should stay with, considering how small ICE is? Currently trading 5. Look forward to your replies.
