the price bars on the chart window based on when the macd settings cross

also attached the MT macd cross code - in case someone felt like converting it

Not difficult to do, but I have not seen it so far. The MACD indicator attached gives similar signals based on the histogram, but

-> it does not use a Guppy MACD
-> it does not print dots for the trend change, but uses paint bars

other tools on the chart and a separate signal makes it all easier

Then you need to convince somebody to code that for you. Sorry I am behind schedule with a lot of stuff, so I refrain myself from coding colors and alerts into indicators.

try the AaMACD it has all the bells and whistles.
I could't find where I got it from so here is the file.

Trader; like you, I am seeking a macd signal. I wish to use it as a set up alert. I have found, for me, that a setting of 3,7,11 is very predictive. What I've been seeeking is an arrow on the chart and an audible alert as well. For me, ideally, I'll then wait for histogram to cross its zero line to confirm trend. Then other confirmations have to line up and sufficient distance to support or resistance, to proceed with the trade. Anyway, that first little signal is my current holy grail. Did you have any luck finding one?
