New feature enhancement on the site tonight.
Now when uploading image attachments to the site, and then inserting the image into the body of a post using the IMG tag, you will no longer see the (duplicate) thumbnail of the image below the post in the attachment area of the post itself.
Old way:
1) Upload image to futures.io (formerly
BMT ) server.
2) Insert into body of post using IMG tag and the URL of the attachment.
3) IMG showed up in body of post.
4) IMG thumbnail also showed up below post in attachment area.
New way:
1) Upload image to futures.io (formerly BMT) server.
2) Insert into body of post using IMG tag and the URL of the attachment.
3) IMG shows up in body of post.
Please report any problems.
Thx,
Mike
i just tried to copy the url of the attachment after i uploaded and inserted it with the img tags and it still showed in two spots?

Give me the post URL where you did this.

I haven't changed anything. So you are saying it works as expected, yes?

if there ends up being two pictures after the insert then no.. there was the bigger one from the insert, then the thumbnail of the one i uploaded in the attachments section of the post.

I looked at your thread. There are no duplicates (img in post body and in attachment section).
Perhaps you are misunderstanding --- if you use just attach, and no img tag, then they go in attachment section. If you use img tag, then they go in post body wherever you place the img tag -- and now will no longer appear in attachment section (the new feature).
You'll need to show me a post that is wrong if you think there is a bug with it.
Thx.

ah ok, it was only doing it when i would preview my post before actually posting it, so i never actually saved it to see what it looked like.. it does what you say when you are not in preview mode.

OK, I duplicated the bug in preview mode. I will work to get that fixed. But once you submit it, it works as expected.
Thx.

New feature: Filter subforums listed in New Post results.
When clicking the "New Posts" button from the navbar, you will see a new button option on the top right side of the list of new posts:
Click that button, and it will take you to your UserCP options panel, where you can select which subforums to exclude from the listing of new posts.
Place a checkmark next to any subforum that you want to be EXCLUDED from the new posts result list, and hit Save at the bottom of the page.
Please report any problems.
