I am wondering if it would be possible to create a histogram when specific criteria is met on the ADX. It should just be a single line (histogram) for each period the criteria is present. If it is possible, can anyone point me in the direction to find code for the following:

ADX(14) < 20
DMI+ < 20 and turning upward
DMI- > 40

then plot a red histogram


ADX(14) < 20
DMI+ > 40 and turning upward
DMI- < 20

then plot a green histogram


Any help for this would truly be appreciated! I have made many sad attempts but cannot get anything working.

Please confirm this is for MetaTrader? As you've posted in the MT section, but your profile says you use Tradestation.

This is for MT4. I am considering switching over to use MT4 and have experimented with some of the platform features. But I have yet to dive into the coding world they use. I am still used to the easylanguage side.
