I am currently using Interactive Brokers. I connect Ninja Trader to IB to get data and use the Ninja Trader charts. I have been using the old version 917.8, because it is the only version of TWS that works with Ninja Trader. I received a message on my TWS that 917.8 will be discontinued of February 24, 2012. I contacted Ninja Trader who said they are aware of the February 24 date and they said: "We will have an announcement before February 24th that will provide you with information regarding the upgrade steps to the new supported TWS version."

I am starting this thread to coordinate information between those who are also using IB with Ninja Trader.

I got the same information from IB about the end of support for TWS 917.8 and I contacted Ninja support as well .
but I am not worried about this issue as this TWS version will continue to work with the current NT7 version until the problem will be sorted out by IB+NT teams

NinjaTrader will release a version compatible with TWS 921.5 prior to February 24, which is the desupport date for TWS 917.8.
