i'm really new to backtesting, and read about mc just recently.

i want to learn easylang, but the 30 days is not enough
is there a free option to practice backtest on historical data, and learn to programm with easylang ?

in addition, i saw that mc is also an actual trading platform.
where can i see the commission fees (buy, sell, options etc.) ?

This would be between you and your broker, and have nothing to do with MultiCharts outside of assuring that MultiCharts supports the brokerage connection.

elibelly - I agree that 30 days is not enough time, so I bought Multicharts. Since then, I have noticed that Open ECry will provide OEC Trader for free. OEC Trader supports C# and EasyLanguage programming. You could look on their site here. You could also check out the Open ECry forum on nexusfi.com (formerly BMT) here. It appears that they also provide a free practice account for simulated trading.

I can confirm OEC's free sim account. So long as one has at least $5,000, and maintains that, it's available... Also, there are no other requirements that you must go live after so many weeks or months, and thereafter have a certain number of minimum trades. For a newbie, that is what I wanted to hear...

What is really the main advantage of MC over ninja?

I thought the topic was "where to practice EasyLanguage". NinjaTrader does not use EasyLanguage.

(dont have $5000 for this now...)

OK elibelly. So the main objective is "free". I think that there are no options other than NinjaTrader. For a comparison between NT and MC, here are a few threads and a video:
