Sorry, forgot to ask if anyone here has used the Infinity AT platform recently? I've heard some good things about the actual platform but apparently Infinity brokers are a little expensive when it comes to commissions and stuff.
You DO NOT get a charting package with Infinity but you can feed the data into MarketDelta which can be a good thing given MD's extensive work on Market Profile.
Any feedback would be appreciated.

Can you help answer these questions from other members on NexusFi?
I have been using Inifinity AT for over two years and love it. The Depth-of-Market is the most simple and effective to use compare to a few platforms that I had used (Trade Station, Trade Navigator, Thinkorswim). I only trade TF (emini Russell), and I am satisfied some minimal slipage on order executation if any (most of the time is 1 tick but can be as high as 3 ticks). I don't trade around major news annoucement, so I don't know what the slipage would be.
The downside is that you have to pay monthly fees for a charting package. I tested Serria (sp) charting package and hated it. It used different data server, so the price on chart "often" different than Inifinity AT platform. Currently I'm using NinjaTrader from AMP futures for charting and very happy with it.
I'm using Infinity also with Ninja charts (wih zen-fire) which I find very good.
Used SIERRA CHARTS for a while, but it was very complicated and there was no synchro between those two.
I'm just informed today, that InfinityAT and SierraChart has the same data-feed (TransAct). This means that the market price on InfinityAT and SierraChart is the same. Can you re-confirm this with Infinityfutures ? Meanwhile, what's your experience with using InfinityAT with Ninja/AmpFutures/Zen-Fire ? What do you pay as charge/fee/subscription for Ninja/AmpFutures/Zen-Fire service ?
I'm in the process of opening a LIVE account with Infinityfutures, I shall therefore appreciate your advise in this regard.
I trade with infinity. Great customer support, very stable, fast data and fills (well at least compared with my old broker Tradestation). The "platform" is bare bones but does everything you would want it to do and nothing more. Commissions are a bit higher than some other people i've heard but then again i'm a small 1 lot trader with them so I can't complain too much. (I'm paying 5.45/rt on the 6E/B/C, etc.) They will knock .10/rt off your commissions for every person you refer to them if that helps at all? All in all i'm very impressed with them and intend to keep my business with them.
I'm currently on SIM with the InfinityAT version 4.5.1. Infinity also just got Sierra for me for charting, and I'm enjoying them both. However, I may opt for Ninja/Zen-Fire for charting if I'm eventually not comfortable with Sierra. The market price on InfinityAT, Sierra and Ninja/Zen-Fire are neatly the same today (my first day on this combination). What is your experience in this regard ?
What do you use for charting (SierraChart/TransAct, Ninja/Zen-Fire, etc).
If you don't use Sierra, how much do you pay for the alternative charting software you use.
Does the $5.45/rt on 6E include exchange fee, etc ?
I use OEC Trader for my charting (its free if you have an account with them and you can open up a 250.00 forex account with them and have free data and charting for life). Price always seems to line up nicely with OEC charting - I can't compare to a ZenFire feed personally because I don't use Ninja.
Nice thing about the OEC is you can use it to power other platforms like Multicharts or Tradestation if you use Owndata.
The 5.45 includes everything - exchange fees as well.
Hi,
I found the infinity customer service appalling for international clients. I have asked for commission structures on currency futures during an online chat and the response back was "yeah" and they hung up. I would hate to know what the response was if you had problems with your account. As a result of this experience I have moved to a zenfire broker, which in my opinion is alot better than infinityAT platform.
regards,
trader
I have an exceptionally good communication by phone from/with Markus for the past one and a half weeks. Markus had called me twice. And e-mails ? Numerous, between me, Markus and another guy, apart from their support team, and they attended to me on their commission structures and other issues specific to my requirements. I didn't use their online chat. And I don't reside in USA.
traderadreas, this is completely opposite of what you are experiencing. But for the fact that you have already made your choice, it would have been desirable that you contact them by e-mail.
InfinityAT concept is completely different from NT's. It is a kinda bare-bone platform designed purely for fast order fills/execution, with no charting tools. I wish I'll one day know how to trade WITHOUT chart.
